Nursing Home???
Have you seen or know of someone abusing or has abused the elderly in a nursing home or elsewhere and if so who do you report it too when the police wont step in like you expected? ~~ Anonymous
I use to work in a nursing home for 1 week (that's all I could take) when i lived in Philly. Those nurses that where in charge where so mean an fake. I was a nurses aide and you are only suppose to have so many patients. However, they give you way more patients than one person can handle. Therefore, you have to rush and wash them up ,so you can get to the next patient. They treated thoes older poeople so bad. They put some of them in restrains and they are not suppose to do that. They where such fakes. When they knew someones family was gonna visit them, they would treat them good for that day only, so the family would not know how they treat them bad on the other days. It was the worse experience I ever had. Therefore, I quit after 1 week which seemed like a whole year. That's how bad it was. I said to myself I never want to work in a nursing home again. The people in charge have no compassion for the seniors or for the work that the nurses aides do. I did meet some nice seniors there and we talked and they told me how much they hated it there. I felt so bad for them. I'm not saying all nursing homes are bad but a lot of them are. To answer the anonymous person question get a private investigator if you can afford it. People who treat the elder like that should go to jail.
YEAH ! REPORT THAT ISH TO ME ! IF YOU PAY MY ROUND TRIP AIR FARE I'LL TAKE CARE OF IT ! 3 THINGS I CANT STAND ARE PEOPLE THAT COMMIT CRIMES AGAINST THE ELDERLY, CHILDREN, AND DEFENSELESS ANIMALS ! THE POLICE MOVE SLOW BECAUSE IN A LOT OF CASE'S ELDERLY PEOPLE SUFFER FROM DEMENTIA AND THE POLICE WONDER IF THEIR IMAGINING THEIR ABUSE ! THERE ARE ROUTES YOU CAN TAKE THOUGH ! SET UP A HIDDEN CAMERA AND GET EVIDENCE, GET THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY INVOLVED, GET THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICE'S INVOLVED, GET THE FBI INVOLVED FOR VIOLATION OF THE ELDERS CIVIL RIGHTS, GET THE MEDIA INVOLVED, GO TO THE HEAD OF THE NURSING HOME AND THREATEN A LAWSUIT IF IT DOESNT STOP, AND GO DIRECTLY TO THE CULPRIT WITH FAMILY MEMBERS AND FRIENDS AND CONFRONT HIM/HER ! LET THE PERSON KNOW THAT YOU ARE ALL AWARE OF THE ABUSE AND THAT IT HAD BETTER STOP, OR ELSE !
