In regards to tattoo’s and/or piercings…where did they originiate and is there an age limit to allow them and/or an age limit you should stop getting them? What's in fashion these days and/or whats out? Should they be accepted in the work place since times have changed; if so, what's considered okay? Is there such a thing as over doing it or just “Freedom of Expression and when is enough, ENOUGH? Oh and please tell me there is not a young tattoo artist like 5 doing work? If so who would really go? Just because of being kind of curious? ~~ M.K.

  1. "LOL!!!!!

I actually did a little research on these subjects
First of all, me myself, I don't like it
I mean, not on me, anyway
I think it is probably a hurtful process and I'm too much of a chicken to go through something so painful :O
And I don't think it would look good or sexy on me
I also think I am beautiful naturally and I don't need to change myself physically (at least not in this area) to make myself better.

    BUT
I am all for freedom of expression
Whoever wants to get a tattoo or a piercing, go get one- but be careful where and who does it, you need a healthy sterile studio to do it in.... Because it might cause infections and bad outcomes
And when it becomes to much, it is ADDICTION. Just like gambling, over-eating, using drugs or cigarettes, watching TV, sitting in front of the computer (LOL I guess I'm addicted...! XD), having too much sex and many more habits that when done too often it might become seriously bad and cause deadly consequences.
It really sickens me to see people pierce themselves over and over again until there is no spot on their body that's without metal objects... But it's their choice. I have a friend who wears MANY piercings, too many, but I respect her and if body modification makes her happy- why not let her? She didn't do anything as drastic as these photos, nothing that looks incredibly scary. I can't understand the cultures who make people look like some kind of dark sorcerers.. It's very scary and frighting ='[[[
About tattoos... I'll admit, I think it's better. It's an art. And I have a certain amount of attraction to tattooed people, as long as it's in taste and it has a meaning. Check out Wentworth Miller's character in the TV show "Prison Break", and TRY to tell me that doesn't make him 100% hotter..! I mean, come on, that's screaming SEX.... And it's also a form of art. And yes, there are people who are addicted and overdoing it, and then it just looks like they have no skin anymore.

So to sum up my feelings about this, I wouldn't get one myself, I suggest if someone wants to get it go get it but check the environment you're doing it in, some of these things are actually beautiful and meaningful and sexy. As long as it doesn't hurt... What's the harm? I don't think it should be any different than putting a color in your hair- you just need to put a certain limit to it, that's all :)"

  2. First, although the split tongue is real in the pic above, the zipper was added digitally and does not curreently exist as an option for split tongues. Now, I believe people should seriously consider their future goals in determining what and where they want to put body art. For example, those wanting to enter the military need to know that tattoos that show with uniform on will prevent them from entering service. Also everyone is not as accepting in the corporate world, therefore those with their sights set on corporate careers and moving up need to make that their first priority and save the excessive and eccentric body art to a minimum or hidden. Now, as far as some of the excessive art shown above, my question would be "Do you realize as you grow older that is not going to be as interesting or attractive?" If the answer is yes and you're okay with that, GO FOR IT! No matter what the fashion statement is hair, clothes, or body art, there will always be someone that has something negative to say. If you are not comfortable in your own skin then you will have a hard time adjusting to the sneers and jeers you get from those who have no problem expressing their opinion. I have a tattoo on my back, I chose that section because I want control over when it shows and who sees it. I would have a nipple piercing and a clitoral piercing if I were'nt so scared of the anticipated pain.

  4. Nipple piercings are not bad at all. If you can have a baby u can get your nipples done. They tell you to take a deep breath in and b4 u can say ouch or crap or whatever???? Its over after u blew out all the air...just a fyi on that...LOL
