The Art Of A Drag Queen....

AND

NO not all men who perform in drag are gay, so for those who may have thought...Open up the book and read the contents in the chapter b4 you start judging ;-)

The term "drag queen" first appeared in print in 1941, though "drag" had already been a part of theater slang since at least the nineteenth century. It is often noted that the Stonewall riots on June 27, 1969 in New York City were inspired and led by drag queens, and, in part for this reason, drag queens remain a Western gay culture tradition at gay pride events ..

A drag queen is usually a man who dresses, and usually acts, like a caricature woman often for the purpose of entertaining or performing whether singing, lip-syncing, dancing, participating in events such as gay pride parades, drag pageants, or at venues such as cabarets and discotheques. There are many kinds of drag artists and they vary greatly, from professionals who have starred in movies to people who just try it once. Drag queens also vary by class and culture and can vary even within the same city.

Although many drag queens are presumed to be gay men or transgender people, there are drag artists of all genders and sexualities who do drag for various reasons.

Drag is here to stay rather you like it or accept it...

They've made their way into videos and most of you couldn't and still cant tell the difference...If you missed it you better look at it again...

They have their own television shows that people rush to tune into on a regular...I cant wait until the new season. (see below for details)

You know they've come along way when they can hold their own next to that icon fashionable barbie doll....

  5. It seems someone studies the art of drag and presented it well. If good sense in the form of good research and grammar is one of the good things they bring to society then good. Judgment should be based on common skills and I have nothing else in common with drag queens. However, my judgment is positive. I am not affected by the existence or lack of existence therefore, do ya thing.
