We all have 1 appointment with JUDGMENT!! 'n' trust!!! The God I serve will NOT be conferencing YOU in during “MY” appointment; so allow “my” business 2 stay mine 'n' your business 2 stay yours until that time....“AMEN”!!!!
Act like a Christian in any circumstance. Follow Jesus' (the Son of God and also God) greatest commandment: Love God completely and everybody even if they treat you wrongly whether you know them or not. Jesus said "love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you" Jesus says in John 15:13, "I have given you an example, that as I have done, so should you do."
1Sam 15:23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.
Gal 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
Gal 5:20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
Gal 5:21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
Mat 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
Mat 7:17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
Mat 12:34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

Its not what you say its how you say it, so please say it within the guidelines of this page...Thank You
Although, I am Catholic, I must agree with the 33 year old athiest. I have a firm belief in God and of Jesus Christ, but the only way one can show that belief is by living the word, not cramming it down anyones throat. Memorizing the bible does not make a good person, being able to quote scripture at will does not make a good person, putting the words into action makes a good person. We are here to serve each other not ourselves. You can not truly be a christian and think that you are going to be let into the pearly gates before everyone else. In fact, I think that it is the exact opposite. My choice to be a Catholic is all based on faith. There is no proof of anything, it is blind faith, and I am ok with that.
ReplyDeleteI think it has to do with growth i use to be Judgmental - but I didn't mean to be, i thought I was helping others by telling them things I learned in the Bible. I was wrong because what I was reading, God wanted me to apply in my life, and not go around telling people how to live. God wants me to live right so people can see God in me and that might make them want to change without me saying a word by living by faith and not by sight.
ReplyDeleteI to wouldn't have a problem learning what I don't know, but as the person said above I have found Christians trying to beat me over the head with their beliefs. It just makes it hard to learn or hear anything they are saying to me.
ReplyDeleteI deleted your question but rest assure I saw your post in regards to the boyfriend and kids. I believe something like that is coming up in a few weeks...I post the questions/topics according to how they come in, as well as mine...Please feel free to send me an email (see below) next time, so that I can keep your question in order and not forget about it...have a great rest of the week and enjoy your holiday...
ReplyDelete(in the meantime you may want to visit this post until then...see link just below)

Most people don't know any better. Some of it comes from false teachings and most of it comes from a lack of knowledge.
ReplyDeleteWhile I won't be conferenced in on your appointment, during my appointment, all I want to hear is "well done, my good and faithful servant"
As a child of God, it is my responsibility to share His goodness with those I come into contact with. I will never do any of those things that you mentioned in the post, but please believe that God is awesome and I share it everywhere I go. Jesus said "Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen". Matthew 28:19-20
It was that kind of behavior that helped me give religion the boot. Church folk love to sit around and see who knows the most bible verses and catch phrases, a christian p!ssing contest basically.
ReplyDeleteNow when someone quotes the bible to me, I quote Dr Seuss to them, one book of fiction against another.
@ Latricia you say you wont do anything that is on the post. Well, thats been contradicting right? You are a hypocrite then. If you read the first part it states how to act like a christian which you have not done. This is why many of us turn away. I'm not all into the bible but I do know least not you judge before you judge yourself and you are judging.
