Do you say the word itch and NO!!! I dont mean scratch....

A female dog is what you like to be called and/or call one another on a regular huh??? WOW!!! I just don't get it, so if I'm out of tune on this one then heyyy send me back in time. :-/

If I'm not mistaken the first time the “B” word was used on US television was somewhere around the early to mid 80's. It was on the episode of Dynasty when Krystle and Alexis got into one of their famous cat-fights. As of now the “B” word is so widely used, it's like saying hello, good morning, how are you today? You hear it EVERYWHERE from the old to the young, radio to television and now even in some cartoons.

Growing up utilizing the “B”word was up there with, “if you're bad then knock this chip off my shoulder. Yep, grounds for fighting and if a guy called you that; oh my dear heavens LOOK OUT!!! Woman on a rampage with anything she could get her hands on to throw; too bust that joker upside his head. Men wouldn't even phathem the thought in fear of utensils to hot grits being thrown at them. Mind you, why would they call you one when they wouldn't dare call their mother one??

Think twice before getting upset when that guy just called you the “B” word. Why shouldn't he be allowed when he hears everyone else calling you one???? Where has the RESPECT level gone for yourself if not for your other female family/friends? STOP letting the “B” word roll off your tongue and out your mouth so easily!! A New Year is just around the corner, so try making that apart of your resolution this year. You may surprise yourself enough to where others will catch on and follow your lead just like we did from the media. Food for thought right???

To my female friends who utilize the word and my gay friends included (you know who ya'll are) who use it just wayyyy too much...

Its overrated, overused, overworked, just over, over, over it... just like the phrase that's hot (((((shivers)))))

In my best-est best Living Color “Men On Film” voices...  "Hated It"....giving it 2 snaps in Z formation, up down, round 'n' round in a circle...

you know I'm just tryin' to get the point across how outdated it is that's all....lol...have a good one _ _ _ _ _ _ _

(peoples)

HA! u thought I was gonna say it...NOPE not I  ;-)

  1. 100% all man here and you said what I feel and think. Ive called some skirts that but understand I call the ones that who use the word just like you said. I find myself not calling other females that who don't like to use the word at all so I guess I have respect for the ones who have respect for themselves who dont use it.

  2. I think life imitates art. So people do what they see their favorite celebrity doing. They think it's cool. Just like all the ho's they put in the music video's today they are worshiped and respected by most men and good girls are dis and disprected because people live TV fantasy. Check out all the reality show the girl who gets the guy is the ho!!! Sorry to change the subject but I had to get this off my chest.

  3. The word should not be used but when people get upset they use the word to hurt. But some people use it and a fun content. I use to say the word all the time, and did not think anything of it. It was because of the crowd I hung around. The ladies would say it we would say it. But as you grow and become mature and responsible for your choice of words it just not cool. I don't want anyone calling my wife, mom, or daughter one so I now chose not to use it.

  4. Kudos to you above I applaud you for stop using it. To the other person above I have used it when in rage and I try not to, but not a fan of using it like its an everyday word. I just couldn't nor can't get into it. I too was raised up old school, so I understand the chip off the shoulder and the B word being a fighting word. It's just sad when you hear the little kids using it very often on playgrounds etc. They are our future and this is what we allow them to do and say like nobody's business. Sad just smh at the thought.

  5. If someone uses the word on a regular then they should accept being called one. An eye for an eye. If you can dish it then you take it ladies.

  6. My experience with this term back in the day was that it was not to be used at all. But, as you have stated about its use in television, I was watching a reality show last night where a radio announcer would call a person over the phone as a pranked and called this man and his wife the B word. I remember thinking to myself that if I had been the one he had called and used that term with ON TV that still would not have saved him. We are far too comfortable with its use. The other day a young man referred to his girlfriend as "my *itch" while the lady was standing there and there was no response from her at all. When we reach a level in society where this is acceptable by both male and female, this is really sad that we have no respect for others or ourselves.

  7. I have no respect for a B who calls herself a B and lets others call her a B also. That's just ignorant!

  8. Looking at the previous statements I must say I to have seen as well as heard guys (plural) bluntly say this to or about the girl they've had in their presence right out in the open in front of others not giving a hot damn. Some young and some older and the response is just appalling to say the least. I have seen the young ladies/women stand in silence, suck their teeth, snicker or laugh at it as if to think it was cute let alone accepting. Hello ladies young or old its definitely a form of degrade and if in doubt just read some of the above statements by men themselves. WAKE THE HELL UP AND WAKE UP NOW "QUICKLY"!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. My friends and I call each other this word sometimes and it's cool because its no harm intended. I have been called this by men who were mad cause I didn't holla, and I didn't care. I know they were just mad. Now don't get me wrong I use to be offended when I was younger but as I matured the word offends me less because I know who I am so I can careless what you call me. But now I know the word is over-rated I will not use it. Now I don't know how many of you are from the south but another word that's over-rated is Nigg@. This word can get under my skin sometimes. I know we use it jokingly but come on people can we please get pass this word. I do not use this word and do not want it used on me. Call me a bi... b4 u call me a ni... but I would prefer neither if you can help it...
