We all know the old way to discipline a child would be considered child abuse today, but you all heard of stories when some adult washed a youth’s mouths out with soap if they used foul language. Do you recall a strange/funny way your parent disciplined you or any adult disciplined another child?
I recall visiting a friend in Pasadena during the summer of 1984 listening to Tina Turners Private Dancer's album. I just sat down on the front porch with Tracy's cousin Robin (who was allowed to smoke, since her mother knew about it) :-/ Well, anyway Tracy and her good friend who lived with her got caught smoking cigarettes upon her mother Virginia arriving home. Her mom left "HOT" as all get out!! Well she purchased the "cheapest cigars" and had them both smoke them until they turned green as spinach..LOL…they were coughing and gagging 2 no end…Mind you I took 1 puff of the cigarette in the house and they tried to tell, but she said I know that girl has not tried smoking no damn cigarette keep puffing stop talking…LOL..sorry I just had 2 share 'n' crack the heck-up.... I can see it like it was yesterday...guess you had to be there...they were sick for dayssssss...lmbo!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is so funny Ayisha! LOL I had something like that happen to me also. Except it was a bully girl, who force another girl and me to smoke a cigarette, she didn't care that we were coughing and gagging. If we didn't smoke the whole cigarette, she was going to beat the you know what out of us. I was scared of her. She towered over me and was pretty hefty. She was crazy!!!
